Judy
Stone – Profile
Since
1980,
Judy Stone has been teaching and working holistically
with people
on issues of health, diet, and body awareness.
In her private practice as a psychotherapist and
nutritionist,
called aptly, Nutrition
Magician, Judy helps clients address both physical
and emotional
obstacles to overcoming health depleting problems such
as obesity,
alcoholism, depression, overeating, chronic pain,
hypoglycemia,
diabetes and hypertension. She has a love of teaching
and often
presents in community education programs, at
conferences, and
for corporations.
Certified in Bioenergetic Analysis, a cutting-edge
discipline
within the field of psychotherapy, Judy developed and
operated
"Feeding Your Whole Self,” a program for women using
Bioenergetics, group therapy, and cooking classes to
explore and
change their relationship with food, body, and self. She
is also
certified in Comprehensive Nutrition from The American
Academy
of Nutrition.
Following her passion for combining good food with good
health,
Judy started a personal chef service, Popover Cooking
Service,
through which she cooked healthy meals for people in
their own
kitchens. She has developed dozens of recipes to support
healthy
eating and has taught cooking classes emphasizing the
use of whole
foods for ten years.
